Perimeter is the distance around the edge of a shape...or around the edge of darkness. Can you find the length of this rectangle of darkness?

Did you wait all weekend in anticipation of what Day 2 would bring?! Itβs spring, and our goose pond is growing algae like crazy. Help us figure out when it will be half full (or half empty if youβre that kind of person).
Our unofficial hint for this one is to not think too hard. As always, DM us if you need a hint and to check your solution! Solutions for the week will be posted in our stories on Friday. Happy algae counting!

Lots of happy feelings today as we celebrate What is Math's 1st birthday! ππ I am SO thankful to have arrived here. After a year of constanlty learning and growing, I am so sure that this is the right path for me and am so glad I took the leap a year ago. The uncertainty and the tough stuff has been completely worth it as I travel down a path that feels so right for me.
Now for a look back at the beginnings and a huge thank you for all the support I've had the last year - from all of my unofficial advisors who are a phone call away for vent sessions or questions and to the friends & family who have always been there, supporting me in their own ways. I wouldn't have gotten here without such a wonderful support system.
The highlights β¨:
β’ The first unofficial logo sketches ( and ) all the way to the official logo (THANK YOU .paige for helping to create the brand and thank you for the cozy workspace)
β’ My brother spent two separate ~6 hour zoom calls helping me build a powerful desktop computer for virtual tutoring and running the company. The last hour was spent figuring out why it wouldn't turn on after everything was assembled. Turns out I had inserted the memory cards BACKWARDS and the whole fiasco is now our favorite(?) memory together π
β’ The office construction (). The journey of putting together the adjustable standing desk was so entirely worth it!
β’ The biggest thanks to mom & dad for all the support in so many ways, always.
Bonus points for thinking to send me an e-card for a day that they knew was so special to me π₯²
