These Minnesota Teacher of the Year Finalists have some exciting events on the horizon!

Please help us welcome back our hard working staff by stocking our staff lounge with an assortment of yummy snacks and beverages! Donations can be dropped off at the PTO table in the Cafeteria at Open House on Thursday, August 27.

We are looking for non-perishable, pre-packaged items like:
• Individually wrapped snacks: Chips, Popcorn, Fruit snacks, Granola bars, Cookies, Fruit cups, K-cups (coffee, tea, hot cocoa), Sparkling water/juice
• Hand soap, hand lotion, and hand sanitizer (regular size, for use in the staff lounge)
• Dishwasher detergent and dish soap (for use in the staff lounge)
• Disinfecting wipes
• And more!
Donations will be used for Staff Appreciation events held monthly throughout the school year.

Join us for a fun and relaxed evening on Tuesday, August 25 at your child’s school where they can play, meet future classmates and get excited for kindergarten. This summer, we want to take a moment to celebrate two extraordinary members of the Meadowbrook PTO: Ashley Francis and Jen Klein.

Since joining the PTO leadership team in the fall of 2023, Ashley and Jen have dedicated countless hours to supporting our students, staff, and families. Their commitment and leadership have made a lasting impact on our school community.

Jen has led our Booster Glow Run for the past two years, making it one of Meadowbrook's most successful fundraising events. In 2025, the event raised an incredible $49,018 for our school. This year, that success grew even further, generating more than $57,000 for Meadowbrook and an additional $5,700 for the Relief Fund.

Ashley has served as the PTO's unofficial president, providing steady leadership behind the scenes and ensuring that our leadership team, event chairs, and committee volunteers stayed organized and focused. Her guidance, encouragement, and ability to bring people together have been invaluable to the success of our PTO.

Together, Ashley and Jen have helped strengthen our school community. Their contributions extend far beyond the hours they volunteered; they have left a lasting legacy at Meadowbrook. As they leave the PTO Leadership team, we are deeply grateful for all they have given to our school community. Thank you, Ashley and Jen!
