๐Ÿ“ท In recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day today, our American Indian Education staff and student royalty, along with our American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC), visited our high schools to give an informational presentation. Students learned more about the history of Indigenous Peoples' Day, the 11 sovereign Tribal Nations in Minnesota, and experienced a drum and dance performance. At each school, students and staff were invited up to briefly join the intertribal dancers.

Weโ€™ve received some questions about information circulating in the community regarding Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) and the 2026 bond referendum.

Here's an important clarification: if the building bond referendum passes, the district's projected LTFM levy needs would be lower, not simply added on top of the bond, as some information being circulated suggests.

Why is this? Some projects already identified in the districtโ€™s long-range LTFM plan would instead be completed as part of the larger bond-funded construction projects. That means those costs would no longer need to be funded through LTFM, reducing the districtโ€™s future LTFM needs. Learn more at https://rdale.referendumfacts.org/.

Did you know that Question #3 would allow the district to build a new 4-section elementary school on the Robbinsdale Middle School site?

This modern 4-section elementary school would serve families on the east side of the district and potentially attract students from neighboring districts. Like the renovated elementary schools in Questions 1 and 2, this new elementary would include a student-centered design, allowing for flexible, hands-on learning spaces. This site would also have space for outdoor learning.
