Hi, Patrick Elementary families! Welcome back!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer filled with fun, family, and adventures with plenty of time to recharge. I am so excited to welcome back students, staff, and families for another incredible school year!
Last year, we talked a lot about our community—about our roots, our connections, and how we grow together. This year, we’re gonna build on that foundation with a new theme: Every Piece Matters.
And I truly believe that. Every student matters. Every staff member matters. Every community member matters. Each of us brings something unique to our school family—and when we all bring those pieces together, we create something so special.
This year, we’ll talk about what it means to be safe, unique, respectful, included, responsible, valued, and kind. These are more than words on a puzzle piece. They’re the ways we can make sure that everyone at Patrick belongs.
And now for some logistics. You will be able to see who your child’s teacher is in ParentVue on September 2nd, and by September 3rd you’ll be able to see the transportation bus routing information..
On Tuesday, September 8th, we will welcome our 1st - 5th grade students onto campus for their first day of school. Families, if you choose to, you are welcome to walk them to their class on that first day - but we ask that you leave by 7:55 so that teachers can get their learning day started on time. One week later, on Monday, September the 14th our kindergarteners will join us on their first day of school.
I can’t wait to see our hallways filled with smiling faces, hear the laughter of our students, and watch all of you making memories as we learn and grow together. Let’s make this another great year of connection, learning, kindness, and growth.
Remember, every piece matters—and you are an important piece of our Patrick family.
Welcome back, Panthers! See you soon!
