Our very own Lily Sears is a 4-H state champion for visual arts. She made a beautiful vase for the competition. We’re so proud of her at Evangelical. If you or your children are interested you in how to become a part of 4-H, let us know and we’ll get you the details. There are so many ways to be involved. Congratulations Lily!!

What a sweet, special treat. Thank you Amy Roosman and Michelle Sowders for being so creative and thoughtful. The teachers loved creating their fresh flower bouquets! Secret Pal ladies have done it again.

Thank you to Evangelical EPIC (Evangelical Parents Invested in Children) for Filling the Fridge in our teachers lounges. We’re so appreciative of all you do for us here at Evangelical, and you always make us feel special.

We had a wonderful service for Commissioning our teachers this morning, and a very full Open House afterwards. Thank you to the school board who helped serve refreshments, and the teachers who have worked so hard to get their rooms ready. Thank you to all the parents who showed up to church and to see the classrooms. This year will be our best year yet, and it’s all thanks to everyone who shows up and shows out for Evangelical!

This is a photo of Rotary District 6460 Governor Musonda Kapatamoyo with Samantha Eales who both attended our weekly meeting. Samantha was granted the Rotary District 6460 William J. Menghini International Scholarship https://www.rotarydistrict6460.org/foundation/global-scholars/ She will receive $18,000 to support her studies at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.

Samantha is a 2023 graduate of Alton High School, and she graduated from Murray State in Kentucky in 2026. At the University of Aberdeen she will continue her studies in public health with an emphasis in nutrition.

During College Samantha participated in many service and public policy initiatives. The Alton Godfrey Rotary Club supported her scholarship application and she promises to be an ambassador for Rotary here and in Scotland.
