Interested in taking our Graphic Design classes? CGRD 162-01: Graphic Design II is Mon/Wed from 8:45-10:50am, starting Monday, August 24. Tara's class is Virtual with Zoom.

We will build on basic design, emphasizing typography, illustration, symbol, logo, poster, and publication design. Assignments will include graphic design exercises + projects focusing on the functional and aesthetic use of parts, form, color, and typography that leads to effective visual communication.

There is still time to enroll!

Students in CGRD 262 (Graphic Design III) have been working on creating packaging design concepts, designing full concepts of the brand as well as laying out in a dieline and creating a mockup.

Featured here is Madison Rea's design for Lilac Lattes ☕ Her concept is a coffee product that has a light lilac flavor similar to taro boba tea, yum!

For their last portfolio project in CGRD 150 (Desktop Publishing - InDesign), students created a magazine cover + article, of their choosing. They are responsible for every aspect of their layout and design, while fulfilling the requirements of the project.

Graphic Design I students have been working on creating vinyl album covers 🎧 Students are asked to utilize all of the design principles in their toolbelts, along with setting up files for print using a dieline and creating a physical mockup for documentation.

This is the Get Fit Newsletter project that students just finished in our CGRD 150 class (Desktop Publishing - InDesign). Students are given the text to include and what page it is required to be be on, but the design and layout is their own.

Last day to see the Student Art Exhibition is this Saturday, 4/25! The Hatheway gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm; Saturday 10am-2pm. Sunday is closed.

All are invited to an Opening Reception at Hatheway Gallery in Hatheway Culture Center on Friday, April 10, 4pm-6pm!
The exhibition features artwork created by LC Fine Arts and Graphic/Wed Design students. Please come join us to celebrate the Annual Art Exhibition!
