Held our first AWS student section meeting of the school year today. Pretty good turn out. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 5pm. Our next AWS STL section meeting is September 21st and we will be going to Schantz manufacturing in Highland Illinois to learn about manufacturing food vending trailers.

Make sure you make a trip to see Christmas Tree Lane at Lewis and Clark Community College by the tennis courts and check out all the wonderful trees decorated by the clubs, teams, and departments on campus. It is open Friday and Saturdays from 5-9.

Of course Welding Technology far out built everyone else.... we may be biased though .... you will have to go and see for yourself and let us know!!

One of our adjunct instructors was here to talk about opportunities with the iron workers after graduation!

We were honored to have Joel from Metro East Industries come up and talk with our welding students about career opportunities in the railroad industry.

Our Edwardsville High School students and college students were impressed and had a variety of great questions.
