We had a successful first day! Here’s to a great school year! ❤️

We one of my favorite math lessons of the day! We’ve been working on adding & subtracting decimals for the past couple of days and today they were only allowed to use base ten blocks to solve the problems. Most of the kids said it was super fun! 😜🙌🏻

It’s so fun seeing them get a true understanding using hands on manipulative tools.

Music to my ears….”Ms. Roets, can I stay after school and work on getting some math hw done?”

ABSOLUTELY! 🙌🏻
As we are nearing the end of the school year, kids are reaaally starting to pay attention to their grades. Putting forth the effort is what it’s all about & showing you care! Let’s finish the year strong, kids! 💪🏻💪🏻

It does my heart SO good to work with kids one on one to get caught up even if that means time after the school day. ❤️❤️❤️

💜 Movie Friday!! 💜

Our class has reached OVER $3,000 for our fundraiser, so as a reward of teaching $2,500, we got to watch a movie today.

I am so proud of their efforts in raising money for our playground!

Oh, and we decided to have PJ day as well! 🥰 They are all too cute, I had to snag some pics!

Only about half the class participated in this reward as it was mainly Ms. Roets’ choice…but who doesn’t love wearing a ball cap to school?! 😜

This was our reward of our class reached $800 in donations. We are proud to stay we are just a bit over $2,600 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Our class goal is $3,000! We are just about there!

Annual dodgeball tournament took place today & Ms. Roets’ class finished with a strong 3rd place out of 10 teams! 💪🏻 Super proud of them! 💓

Also, don’t mind the date on the board…we’re all ready for Spring Break! 🤩🙌🏻☀️

Kansas Day activity was a success ❤️

We celebrated Kansas Day a day early! So much fun making “Kansas” out of a graham cracker! Such a fun little geography lesson ❤️
