Miss Martinez’s Class 2023-2024

What a sweet spring season we had to end our year in first grade! We had book deliveries from a family in our class, our last school year birthday, and a GHS Seussical performance in March🍀🌈Along with the solar eclipse, our music concert, the Miss Kansas visit, and a Challenger coding day in April☔️🌷And finally field day, guest GMS readers, our zoo trip, a turtle hospital visit, end of the year celebration days, and our summer birthday parties in May🌞🦋

It was such a special year with these super kiddos! Thank you all for your gifts, kind words, and overwhelming support during our time together! I hope you all enjoy your mother’s and father’s day presents, as well as get a good use out of the summer baggies that came home on Thursday! I’ll miss our class, but wish you all an enjoyable summertime with your families, and I look forward to seeing your sweetie in the hall this fall:)🦁💙

What a fun filled February we had here in 1st grade🎈🐸💌

We started our month with a birthday celebration, surprised our wonderful Mrs. Benteman for National Counselor Week, continued our joy with our Valentine’s and 100th Day parties, shared great updates and upcoming goals at conferences, and ended this week with lovely Leap Day activities!

I was thankful to attend a sweet pals birthday party and see some of our gals in their first cheer performance~ I would be thrilled to be a visitor at any future events, always feel free to send information my way:)

I’m excited to enjoy our first week of the new month and last week together before Spring Break! Magical March, here we come:)🌷🍀🌈

January was a super start to our 2nd semester!:)

We enjoyed a few snow days, indoor recess, our board game day class reward, and matching braids with Ms. M towards the beginning of the month! and we ended the month with birthday fun, Kansas Day celebrations, friends with cool new hair, and celebrating springs early arrival with Punxsutawney Phil!

I was even able to be a supporter outside of the classroom! Where one of our firsties scored all 3 of her teams goals at a soccer game!:) If your sweetie would like an extra cheerleader at any upcoming events, I would be excited and honored, always feel free to email me the details!

Happy February🍩💘it will be another busy one but all the more fun!:)
