We were grateful to honor our seniors with amazing star quilts and gift baskets. DGF Indian education would like to thank Tee's Taco's for our delicious frybread tacos. Also like to thank for the delicious desserts. And a huge thank you to Yolanda and Tomas for the beautiful quilts they handmade for our Seniors!! Congratulations to all our DGF seniors. And good luck on all future endeavors. And remember: “We will be forever known by the tracks we leave”

Had the opportunity to take our youth to the Mahnomen Pow-wow and they had a great time. Music. Food and smiles all around. Some even won some gifts! Love sharing the culture with them.

Youth Summit for American Indian Youth with Stethoscopes 2026. Our program was able to take some students to the University of Minnesota Medical school to have the opportunity to try different medical fields. Anywhere from delivering babies to building teeth and blood draws. Ours students had a great time and learned a lot from the staff at U of M and Hennepin County Medical Center.

Had the honor of sharing the flag song at our final home football game in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day coming up on Monday Oct 13. Would like to extend a huge thanks to Londel Seaboy for joining us and teaching a variation of the flag song. Wopida! Miigwech!

It was amazing and moving to witness our school community unite in recognition and support. We are truly grateful for each and every member of out DGF Tiwahe (Dakota language meaning - family)🪶🧡
