Hello Page Middle School Families,
We hope your summer has been a great one and that you have had time to enjoy those activities that make you happy. As we count down to the new school year, here are some important updates:
**Open House: Wednesday, August 19th, from 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Come walk the halls, meet your teachers, and watch your student attempt to open their locker combination on the first try!
4pm to 5:30pm is our 6th grade Open House.
6pm to 7:30pm is our 7th and 8th grade Open House.
However, if you are not able to make it during your specific time, please feel free to join us at any time during those hours.
**Student Schedules: Parents, if you have not filled out the 2026-2027 GCPS Returning Student Forms access via PowerSchool prior to attending Open House, you will be directed to the library to complete your forms before your student can receive their class schedule. Please know that we are still working with schedules. When you gain access to PowerSchool on Monday, know that they are not completely set at that time. All students will be required to attend their scheduled classes for the first two days of school. Then they may e-mail their School Counselor to request a change. We may not be able to accommodate your child's schedule change request. Please feel free to call their Counselor with questions.
**My Ride App: Parents, the My Ride App is the new go to get real-time tracking of your student’s bus. Please view the attached flyer for more information. (See picture below.) Bus route information will be emailed to parents on August 14th and available on the My Ride App and at Open house. Special Education bus students will receive a phone call from the driver with route, pickup, and drop off information between August 17th -20th.
**Parent Dropoff/Pickup: Parents please open the attachment for directions on parent dropoff and pickup. (See photo below.)
**Field Hockey Tryouts: Will be after school on August 24th and 25th from 2:45pm to 5pm! Students trying out must have a VHSL physical on file with Mr. Thomas and Nurse Tammy in order to participate.
**Girls Volleyball Tryouts: Will be held on August 17th and 18th from 4pm to 6pm in the Page gym and cafeteria! Those athletes who make the team will have practice August 20th and 21st from 4pm to 6pm. More to come soon on practices. Students trying out must have a VHSL physical on file with Mr. Thomas and Nurse Tammy in order to participate. Friendly reminder: VHSL physical and athletic forms must be submitted BEFORE participating in any conditioning or tryouts. **Attention New 6th Grade Families: Welcome to the nest! Make sure to join the official Page Middle School page at https://www.facebook.com/pageeagles. It’s the best way to stay in the loop on school activities, key dates, and general middle school survival tips.
