Peasley parents, please consider supporting the Peasley Middle School Athletic Booster Club!

Right now, our Athletic Booster Club is being run by just TWO people…and while we’re extremely proud of that, it was never meant to stay that way.

The truth is, this isn’t a huge, overwhelming job when there are people working together. It only feels that way when a small few are carrying the load of it all.

If everyone gave just a little, it would make a BIG difference.

Our athletes deserve the support, the experiences and the pride that comes with a strong community behind them and it starts with us.

Whether it’s helping at concessions, sharing ideas, or stepping into a bigger role over time…there is a place for you here. We are currently in need of a VP, member at large and treasurer.

Some of you may already know this, but our current president is an 8th grade baseball mom…hi, I’m Tabitha.
I’ve agreed to stay on next year to help guide and support the club, but we need others ready to step in and carry this forward for the future of Peasley athletics.

Whether you’re a field hockey dad, a cheer mom, or a baseball grandparent…again, there IS a place for you here. Even a little bit of your time makes a big impact.

Welcome, Kristen!

We are pleased to welcome Kristen Connelly to GCPS as Assistant Principal at Peasley Middle School.

Kristen currently serves as Dean of Students at Middlesex Elementary School, where she works closely with students, teachers, families, counselors, and administrators. Her experience includes supporting student behavior and discipline, using data to develop interventions, supporting PBIS initiatives, mentoring teachers in classroom management strategies, developing individualized student supports, and strengthening family engagement. She also serves on her school's leadership team, contributing to work related to school culture, attendance, student behavior, and family engagement.

Before moving into administration, Kristen served as both a PreK and fifth grade teacher and team leader. Her leadership preparation has provided additional experience with classroom walkthroughs, student performance data, school improvement planning, budgeting, school safety, SOL testing, special education processes, and student discipline.

Kristen earned her bachelor's degree and Master of Arts in Teaching from James Madison University and completed her PK through 12 Administration and Supervision endorsement through William & Mary.

Her combination of classroom and administrative experience provides a strong foundation for supporting students and teachers. Her focus on relationships, positive school culture, student support, and family engagement will be an asset to the Peasley leadership team.

Kristen's first day will be Monday, August 17, 2026. Please join us in welcoming her to Peasley Middle School and the GCPS family.

Welcome to Peasley Nate Peterson!!

Congratulations to Nate Peterson, the new Assistant Principal of Peasley Middle School!

Nate Peterson has been appointed as the next Assistant Principal of Peasley Middle School.

Since joining Gloucester County Public Schools in 2019, Nate has distinguished himself as an outstanding eighth grade mathematics teacher at Page Middle School. Beyond the classroom, he has served as an eighth grade team leader, member of the school leadership team, and mentor for new teachers.

Nate is recognized for his instructional excellence, strong relationships with students, and ability to use data to improve teaching and learning. He recently completed his master's degree in Educational Leadership, preparing him for this next step in his career.

Nate's integrity, work ethic, and student centered leadership will make him a tremendous asset to the Peasley Middle School community.
