I first met Jacqueline Schwab, the pianist of the Ken Burns' documentary Civil War (and other docs), way back in the late 80s? I can't even remember!, at BU, she was the pianist for dance classes and somehow - I have no idea how - I got asked by her to sub some classes. In the summer of '15 I saw her play at the Chatham UU and was blown away by her program. It is one of a kind.
Well, I am very excited that she will be playing this week at the First Universalist Church of Essex on Friday, Feb 7, at 7 pm.
Since I can't put two links in this post, and I wanted you to see her playing, details are in link in first comment. A not-to-be-missed concert, hope to see you there! A real treat for Cape Ann. 🙂 Please share!
