Ware Academy

We’ve got a grip on things!

Teachers, admin, and staff work hand in hand to make our mission possible. We don’t know how they do it all, but we’re so glad they do!

Word of mouth, personal experiences, and recommendations are some of the most powerful ways to share what makes Ware Academy special.

Splash Cards, our peer-to-peer fundraiser, empowers students to champion their school and invite others to invest in the Ware experience.

Our Upper School students who participated recently celebrated their efforts with an afternoon at Topgolf! ⛳️

When our students share what they love about Ware, it reflects the confidence, pride, and belief our community has in the school. And that’s something worth celebrating!

We’re also celebrating the continued support of our friends at Harris Garage Inc. This family owned business is an Oyster level sponsor at this year’s Community Oyster Roast 2026.

Harris Garage Inc. has been servicing the Hayes, VA area ever since their current owner’s grandfather opened up shop in 1940s. Three generations later, their shop’s doors are still open because of their honesty, hard work and reputable service!

It is always a privilege to recognize our eighth-grade student-athletes. We were able to honor each eighth grader participating in a fall sport along with their parents for their contributions on and off the field of play.

Ware Soccer and Volleyball both defeated Chesapeake Academy this week! Let’s go, Waves!

An exciting update from our HOME cross country meet:

“What a day for our runners! PRs across the board, incredible finishes, and a NEW WARE RECORD!

Bentley took home 1st place AND set a new Ware Academy record! Grayson, James Walter and Junior all earned top placements for the boys! Amelia and Luna both earned top placements for the girls!”
