Scaled Encounters LLC!

What started as a lifelong passion for reptiles has grown into something much bigger—a mission to help people replace fear with understanding and curiosity with appreciation.

Founded by Navy Chief Mike Foti, Scaled Encounters was created to provide safe, engaging, hands-on reptile education for schools, libraries, camps, community organizations, and families throughout our community.

With decades of experience caring for and working with reptiles, our goal is simple: to introduce people of all ages to these incredible animals in a way that inspires confidence, respect, and wonder.

Whether you’re fascinated by snakes or have always been a little nervous around them, we invite you to follow along as we build something special—one encounter at a time.
