Myteacherface is based on my time as a public school teacher for 32 years (retired in ‘24) I use comedy and real talk to connect with other teachers and to give the general public an idea of what it’s like to teach in America.

I'm looking for book recommendations!

I gravitate toward female main characters, female friendships, and rebellious women (shocker I know lol) I really like historical fiction and mysteries too.

Books I don't really ever choose to read, and rarely finish if I do choose them, are biographies, autobiographies, romance novels, or fantasy/sci-fi.

Here are the last four I read and loved; I'd appreciate book recommendations from anyone else who read and loved these as well, but any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

A HUGE thank you is in order!

I created this page on October 7, 2025 after the original Myteacherface FB page was hacked.

After months of back-and-forth with Meta in August and September of last year, I realized that my only solution was to shut down my original page with 93,000 followers and start at zero again.

In 320 days, I’m now back to my starting point of 93k and I have YOU to thank for it!

I appreciate your interactions, likes/shares, comments, and the fact that you’re open to discussions with me. I don’t think I’ll ever stop “teaching” but I KNOW I will never stop learning!
