Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in our Cornerstone family and friends!

Today we celebrated different cultures.
The children got to wear their heritage costumes and also learned about others.
They tried different foods, looked at international dolls, and sang songs.
We also made fun hats!
It was another amazing day at Cornerstone!

This past week, the children learned about Puerto Rico, France and the Philippines.
The Puerto Rican dancing, Phillipino song, tasting yummy dried Mango from the Philippines, the visit of Princess Belle and learning fun facts about France made this week so interesting.
We also had a birthday celebration, as well as community service cleaning leaves. You wouldn’t believe the work the children managed to do!
They were amazing workers.
It was an amazing week!

It was super exciting and busy last week at Cornerstone Montessori.
Children learned about the human body, North America and Asia (cultures and languages), Yoga, Soccer, and much more.
The fire fighters came out with their fire truck from Washington Twp and taught the children about fire safety and emergency matters.
We celebrated two students birthdays and also we had a picture day.
It has been a super busy week but everyone had so much fun and many enjoyable moments.

Our first field trip this year to Duffield Farm was amazing!
Perfect weather, beautiful and peaceful environment, and fun activities (Hayride, apple and pumpkin picking, corn maze, animals, and picnic lunch) made it a perfect day!
