As I celebrate this Independence Day, I find myself especially grateful. Grateful to live in a country where I can explore our forests, climb our mountains, and spend my days in the northwoods. Every trail, every sunrise, and every moment in the outdoors is a reminder of just how blessed we are.
I also know that none of this would have been possible without the courage and sacrifices of the men and women who came before us. Their willingness to serve, protect, and preserve our freedom gave generations like mine the opportunity to experience this incredible country and pass that love of the outdoors on to others.
As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, may we never take those sacrifices for granted.
From my family to yours, I wish you a safe, meaningful, and happy Independence Day. May God bless America, and may we always remain thankful for the freedoms we enjoy.
