There is something so special about seeing our school filled with families… the excitement of familiar faces returning, new friendships beginning, and children proudly showing off the spaces where they’ll learn, play, create, and grow this year. 💛

🐺🎭 Watch out for the Big Bad Wolf!🎭🐷

Mrs. Sunny’s Transitional Kindergarten class brought a favorite story to life with their very own performance of The Three Little Pigs! 🐷🐷🐷

But behind all of the costumes, creativity, and giggles was something even more special: confidence.❤️

Throughout their time in TK, we have watched these children become more comfortable using their voices, expressing themselves, taking risks, and standing proudly in front of their peers. Watching them step into character and tell a story together was such a beautiful reflection of that growth.

And, of course, they were learning every step of the way! ✨ Through dramatic play, our students strengthen early literacy skills like sequencing, storytelling, comprehension, vocabulary, and character development all while exploring the arts and having FUN.

We are so proud of our TK kiddos and how much they have grown! 🌱 We will certainly miss them as they head off to Kindergarten.

Beautiful event at Here We Grow Stables & Agricultural Learning Center

One of our favorite parts of the YJ community is that the connections don’t stop at the classroom door. 💛

Events like Barnyard Blooms give our families a chance to come together outside of school… to slow down, explore the farm, meet other families, and let the kids make memories with the friends they talk about all week. 🌸🌿🐴

We love creating opportunities for our YJ families to truly feel like part of a community. Seeing so many familiar little faces filling the gardens at Here We Grow made this day extra special. 🥹💐

School is where so many of these friendships begin… but we love giving them places to grow. 🌱💛

💎✨ Field Trip Fun at Clark's Elioak Farm! ✨💎

Our little explorers had an amazing time visiting Clark's Elioak Farm, where they became miners for the day! ⛏️ They sifted through their mining bags to uncover colorful gemstones, practiced patience and observation, and experienced the excitement of discovering hidden treasures.

Hands-on adventures like these help bring learning to life, and seeing the joy on their faces made every moment worthwhile! 💚
