🎨✨ Minnewaska Area Middle School Fall Art Club ✨🎨

Calling all young artists in grades 4–8! Join us for a creative after-school experience where imagination leads the way. Students will have the opportunity to explore new techniques, experiment with different materials, and create artwork in a fun, supportive studio environment.

🎨 Through choice-based studio time, students will experiment with a variety of artistic techniques and materials, including drawing, painting, clay, printmaking, and assemblage.

This is a great opportunity for students to expand their artistic skills, follow their creativity, and connect with other young artists.

ABE offers a wide range of programs, including:
✔️ GED preparation
✔️ Adult High School Diploma completion
✔️ English as a Second Language (ESL)
✔️ Basic skills in reading, writing, and math
✔️ Family literacy programs
✔️ Career readiness & civics

💡 To be eligible, learners must:
• Be 17 years of age or older
• Not be enrolled in a K–12 school
• Be seeking a high school credential or wanting to improve skills in math, reading, writing, and/or English

Classes are taught by licensed teachers and supported by trained volunteers in a welcoming, supportive environment.

🏐 Fall Youth Volleyball – Grades 5 & 6 🏐

Join the Minnewaska Volleyball community this fall! Athletes will learn volleyball fundamentals through fun, engaging practices led by our 7th-, 8th-, and C-Squad athletes and coaches. Participants will also get the chance to showcase their skills in a scrimmage, with guidance and support from our experienced student-athletes and coaching staff.

📍 Location: Minnewaska Area High School Main Gym
💵 Cost: $45 per athlete
👕 T-shirt provided to all 5th & 6th grade participants for the scrimmage!

As we begin a major activities week at Minnewaska Area High School, we want to remind everyone that admission to all Laker events that charge admission is now cashless.

Adults: $8
Students: $5
Military & Veterans: FREE

Fans can purchase admission in two ways:

In advance through GoFan
At the admission table using a debit or credit card

PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO CASH BOX at the admission gate. Please plan accordingly.

This multi-age class is packed with early learning fun! Each week features a new theme with a mix of literacy, math, sensory exploration, art, and motor activities. Parent education discussion topics are chosen based on the interests of the group.
