We’ve been quiet... but not because we’ve given up. 💜📚

Truthfully, I became frustrated.

Too many people don’t realize we’re in the middle of a literacy crisis. Nearly 7 out of 10 fourth graders are not reading at a proficient level, and that should concern all of us—not just parents and teachers.

That’s why we created Two Jewels & A Taylor Interactive Learning and why Fixing My Crown, written by my daughter Taylor, means so much to us. Our mission has never been just to sell books. It’s to help children build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and create brighter futures.

What started as a vision in 2021 has grown into a purpose-driven brand dedicated to helping children strengthen their reading and writing skills in fun, interactive ways. From workbooks to learning tools, every product created by Two Jewels & A Taylor has been rooted in love, literacy, and the belief that our children deserve a strong educational foundation.

In honor of Small Business Month, I want to reintroduce everyone across my socials to who we are and what we do! 🤎✨

Two Jewels & A Taylor was created to provide parents and guardians with tools and resources to help kickstart their children’s learning journey — specifically in reading and writing.

We created a 3-step interactive learning system designed to make learning fun, engaging, and effective:

📚 Step 1: An interactive alphabet workbook where children can color, cut, and paste each letter along with matching objects to reinforce letter and sound recognition.

📝 Step 2: Sight word flashcards that combine those letters to form words using the same objects introduced in the workbook.

✨ Step 3: Short sentences that help children apply and strengthen their reading skills with confidence.

While our materials are designed for children ages 2–6, it’s important to remember that it is never too late to learn how to read and write. There is a growing literacy crisis affecting many older children and teenagers, and we want families to know that help is available.
