Raising A Reader Aspen to Parachute Building lifelong learners through storybooks and parent engagement. ❤️📚 to May.

BOOK BAG ROTATION: Through partnerships with 95 preschool classrooms, 1,800 children receive a weekly book bag with four books. Books are kept for a week, returned, and then replaced with four more - ongoing from Oct. FAMILY LITERACY NIGHTS: Parents attend these sessions to receive guidance on building their child's literacy and reading readiness through book-sharing at home. RAISING A READER OUT

REACH: Our outreach centers provide weekly book bags and guidance to low-income families whose children do not attend a preschool or childcare program. BLUE BAG LIBRARY DAYS: 70 classroom field trips introduce children to their local library. Each child receives his/her first library card, a new Raising A Reader library book bag and the chance to check out a first book.
