We are so proud to support the GBS Girls Letter Club! 💙💛

Their mission is all about empowering female athletes to realize their full potential and reach their goals through leadership and service. Through a recent grant, the club was able to:

Gather varsity athletes together to build community and connection. Purchase materials for the annual GBS Gym Jam event! 🏐🏸

Gym Jam is such a fantastic tradition for bringing our athletes and the entire school community together for some friendly competition in volleyball, badminton, and dodgeball.

Today’s features Dr. James Klausner (GBS Class of 1980). As a global leader in thermal science and renewable energy, Dr. Klausner is at the forefront of developing long-duration energy storage—the "holy grail" of a sustainable future. 🌍

From the hallways of GBS to his role as a Distinguished Professor and energy innovator, James has proven that the foundation built in District 225 can truly change the world. We were honored to name him a Distinguished Alumnus for his commitment to science and sustainability.

🔬 Did you know? The Glenbrook High School Foundation continues to fund STEM initiatives and Innovation Grants that provide today’s students with the same "hands-on" science opportunities that launched careers like Dr. Klausner’s.
