One simple dough can become much more than a tortilla.
For Marketing Monday, I’m sharing the first corn tortilla workshop from my Glenside-based business, Bistro Springhouse.
We’ll start with small balls of masa, press and cook fresh tortillas, and watch for that satisfying puff on the griddle. Then we’ll use the same dough to make tetelas—filled triangular masa pockets cooked until warm and lightly browned.
We’ll also experiment with flavor balance through a margarita-inspired mocktail tasting before sitting down to enjoy our work with seasonal fillings.
It’s part cooking workshop, part shared meal, and a different kind of Taco Tuesday night out.
At Bistro Springhouse, cooking brings people together—and tasting should be a conversation. Registration begins with two seats, so choose a friend, partner, family member, or another curious cook to join you.
