NUTRITION FOR LIFE IS COMING TO SHALER AREA!

Calling all Shaler Area Kindergarteners and families!

We’re excited to announce Nutrition For Life is happening in the Shaler Area Cafeterias:
October 7–9!

This special 3-day event is all about introducing our youngest students to the delicious, nutritious meals available through our school lunch program and what better time to do it than LUNCHTIME!

Here’s what’s in store for our Kindergarteners:

- Enjoy a FREE nutritious lunch each day, October 7–9!
-Discover a new sweet treat each day when you participate in lunch!
-Students who participate all 3 days will have a chance to win one of our small prizes through a special raffle!

Most importantly, we hope to see lots of happy faces making their way through the cafeteria line!
Packers are encouraged to join in, too! 💙

If you’re a student who normally packs lunch, stop through the lunch line with your peers and enjoy a FREE lunch during NFL week!

At TNG, we believe good nutrition helps students stay focused, learn, and grow. 🌱 That’s our main focus every day as we provide healthy, delicious and tastful meals to our students.

This is a small but meaningful way for us to introduce our lunch program to our youngest students and show them just how tasty school lunch can be!

Welcome back, Shaler Area! 🎉

We are so excited to kick off the new school year with some tasty new menu items, Crave Days, Action Stations, and other exciting events happening inside our district cafeterias! 🍎🍔🌮

You can now view your student’s school lunch menu by visiting the Shaler Area School District website and clicking on the “Lunch Menu” icon on the homepage.

You can also view the menu through SchoolCafé for additional information about nutrients and allergens.

🥞 Reminder: Breakfast is FREE for all K–12 students!

Stop down in the cafeteria to see us and enjoy some delicious menu options! We can’t wait to see all the smiles in our cafeterias this year.
