Do the opposite.
That challenge was thrown down by a mentor to buck the trends and follow my instinct.
So, I decided to go old school to write my monthly newsletter.
No AI.
I went back to a writing circle to get human feedback.
The result: Instead of crickets, I received beautiful responses including requests to schedule calls about the Momentum Sprint.
And while I love discovery calls, more meaningful to me were the emails describing how the email resonated and inspired.
“Great reminder to introduce you to anyone I know who would also benefit.”
This line was my favorite because it reflected the trust I had built with that person.
As a bonus, it also took me half the time compared to my prior AI-assisted newsletters.
Even though the AI can capture my voice, I spend a great deal of time getting the message to match the soul of my business. Even though subtle, I think my subscribers sensed the disconnect.
Don’t get me wrong, AI deserves its space in my toolbox. It definitely helps me in many ways.
People are at the heart of who I serve, and I feel no matter how close to my voice AI comes, people still feel the human touch.
Join my email list, or even better reach out to schedule a coffee chat, with a message to [email protected]. Whether you want to work with me or not, I always love the opportunity to connect human to human.
