Did you know that BTA offers a wide array of after school activities for students of all ages? This year Mrs. Yakich starts a Book Club especially designed for 1st and 2nd grade students.

They met 4 times this spring. Each week our Book Club adventures began with a shared story. Lessons were designed to engage the children with the text. After listening to the story, they discussed 1 literacy concept (sequencing, rhyming, cause/effect, prediction, problem and solution) and the theme of each book. (such as: friendship, greed, kindness). They also incorporates fun activities such as games, Large Motor activities, STEM activities or art projects were incorporated to enhance the piece of literature selected.

What a bountiful harvest for our BTA Garden! Today is a pick up day for our food pantry so we picked lettuces, radishes and spinach to add to all of the non-perishable goods that are available for those in need.

Our fundraising year has officially come to an end! We had the most beautiful day for BTA’s annual Golf Outing on Monday. Our golfers were treated to great course conditions at Pittsburgh National Golf Club plus so many walked away with some awesome prizes. Congratulations to our newest alumni, BTA’s Class of 2026! We ended their years at BTA with a meaningful mass and graduation ceremony where we recognized the achievements of our students and heard from them about some of their most meaningful times at BTA. We wish them many blessings as they move on to high school and we hope they remember that they will always be a Bulldog.
