Plainview High School Alumni Association Scholarship applications were given out to seniors today and are to be returned to the school counselor no later than Thursday, April 9. Three scholarships will be given: $1000 for a college bound senior, and two $500 scholarships to two technical college bound seniors! Parents, please encourage your students to turn in an application! Go, Hornets! 💚💛

Last year y’all showed up BIG TIME and helped us stock snacks for our reading reward bus ride — and our students were so thankful! 🥨🍪💛

We’re excited to say we’re asking for your help again! This year, we’re celebrating TWO groups of amazing readers 📚🎉

🚌 Our younger students are heading to Shreveport for a fun day at Sci-Port 🔬✨
🚌 Our older kiddos are taking an overnight adventure to Baton Rouge and then spending the next day in Lafayette 🏛️🌟

With long bus rides ahead, we would be incredibly grateful for any help providing snacks for our students along the way 🍿🥤

Thank you for always coming together, supporting our schools, and making student success a priority in our community 🫶💙 We truly couldn’t do this without you!

💚💛Can you help? We are seeking $5 donations in order to purchase ingredients for a plate lunch fundraiser we will be having at the school on October 14. We will be preparing a delicious lunch, available for faculty and staff to purchase, and will deliver it to them at school. $5 donations are needed by Friday, October 10, and can be sent by students to give to their teacher or dropped off at the school in an envelope addressed to

Plainview High School will be having Literacy Night at the school on Tuesday, September 30. There will be a cake walk, and they are seeking donations for cakes. If you would like to donate a cake to help them out, please let us know as soon as possible. Comment below or send a message through Messenger. Check in with the office first and then cakes can be dropped of at the Multi-Purpose Room on the Monday, Sept. 29, or no later than 3PM on Tuesday, Sept. 30, the day of the event.

💚 Meet our Class of 2025 Plainview High School Alumni Scholarship Recipients💛 Each received a $1000 scholarship. Cameron Sutton (left) plans to attend LSUA as a biology major and will also be playing basketball there. Bailey Dunn (right) plans to attend Sowela Community College, majoring in surgical technology. Thanks to all who supported our organization, allowing us to help support these students as they further their education! Go Hornets! 💚💛
