Hope Lutheran School is a Christ-centered community that includes the church members, pastor, parents, school staff, and students. As we teach a variety of subjects each day, our sole objective is to prepare children to serve God and others. All children are taught God's word; it permeates each subject and is not confined merely to daily classroom devotions, the religion period, or weekly chapel s

ervices. Through our teaching we try to prepare them to become responsible stewards of the unique gifts God has given them, and in so doing, the Holy Spirit enables them to lead a joy-filled Christian life that becomes a thanksgiving to God. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, Hope Lutheran School provides comprehensive education to children Preschool through eighth grade. Members of Hope Lutheran Church established the school in 1960 to educate their children and serve the communities of Glendora and surrounding cities.

Just a few weeks left until our new classrooms are completed. The concrete walkways, rainwater drains are finished. The windows have been installed along with the red bricks the compliment our Quad area. A new wheelchair ramp has also been poured. On the interior, cabinets are being installed along with white boards. Stay tuned for more to come.

One of the greatest blessings at Hope Lutheran School is our wonderful teachers.

Teaching is more than a profession, it is a calling. Every day, our teachers pour their hearts, time, patience, wisdom and love into our students. Most importantly, our teachers share God’s love and remind students that they are wonderfully made and loved by God.

As we prepare for another school year, we thank God for His blessings. May God guide our teachers, students and families every step of the way.

The finish line is in sigh for our new classrooms. On the exterior of the building, the doors have been painted, preparations for pouring the concrete walkways, completion of the roof and attic ventilation system. On the interior, the ceiling, hvac vents have been installed along with the light fixtures. The walls have been painted and the cabinets are in the process of being installed. Bud and Mrs. Moore’s family enjoyed the last days of their trip to the Hawaiian islands. They visited Pear Harbor, a pineapple plantation, went snorkeling and rafted through lava tubes. They are all back home safe.
