NEW THIS YEAR AT FOOTHILL! We’re excited to announce a new chapter in our Junior High 1:1 student device program! Beginning this year, our 6th grade students will be equipped with Apple MacBook Neos!

At Foothill, students purchase their device as they enter 6th grade, use it as an essential learning tool throughout their Junior High years, and take ownership of it when they graduate from 8th grade.

Every junior high student has their device available throughout the school day, giving them a powerful tool to research, learn, collaborate, and create! However, this program is also intended to teach our students to use technology with responsibility, wisdom, and discernment as they become confident digital learners. It’s a win-win.

We are excited to welcome Jeff Tirrell as Foothill Christian School’s new Vice Principal of Student Programs! As Lindsey Wilson steps into her new role as Head of School, Mr. Tirrell will help lead the programs and activities that enrich student life at FCS.

Already a Foothill Church covenant partner and FCS parent, Mr. Tirrell knows and loves our community and is excited to serve the school that has meant so much to his own family. He brings extensive experience in Christian higher education, administration, teaching, and student development. Mr. Tirrell holds a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Claremont School of Theology, an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Communications from Azusa Pacific University. His most recent position was in academic administration at APU with nearly two decades of experience in teaching and mentoring students.
 
We are grateful for his experience, leadership, and heart for students that he brings to this new role. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Tirrell to the FCS leadership team!

It is with profound sadness that we share that Foothill Christian Preschool will close its doors at Route 66 on November 20th, 2026.
 
After much prayer, careful consideration, and extensive efforts to find a sustainable path forward, significant declines in preschool enrollment have made continued operation at our Route 66 campus no longer financially sustainable. This was an incredibly difficult decision and one we did not make lightly.
 
For nearly 40 years, FCP has been a place where children have been loved, nurtured, and taught; where friendships have grown, God’s truth has been shared, and foundations of faith have been laid. Its impact has reached far beyond the classroom, shaping generations of children and families throughout our community.
 
Our hearts are heavy for our students, families, faculty, and staff who have called FCP home. Please join us in praying for them in the months ahead, that God would provide every need of theirs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Our cheerleaders just finished an exciting week of cheer camp held at APU with the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders. Our team placed 3rd with their championship routine. Go Falcons!!

The Foothill Christian Legacy Youth Orchestra performed at Pearl Harbor in front of the USS Missouri, where history was made and freedom was defended. A memorable day of music, patriotism, and gratitude for those who served our nation. 🇺🇸

Foothill’s 31st annual golf tournament took place on Monday at South Hills Country Club. We had 100 golfers join us as we raised money for tuition assistance and celebrated the legacy of Mr. G (entering retirement this year)! Through auction items donated by many of our Foothill families, raffles, and registration we raised over $40,000! Thanks for your support and generosity, it truly makes a difference in the lives of our kids!
