Hope Lutheran Church Glendora Sunday worship service is held in the Church at 9:00 am. Bible Study at 10:35 am in the Fellowship Hall We are glad you are our neighbor.

At Hope we strive to love God with our whole hearts because he has graciously loved us first, forgives us, and gives us new life in Jesus Christ. We try to serve him with our whole selves—body, spirit and mind. Jesus went on to say: “The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself’” -Matthew 22:39

We consider it a privilege that God wants to express his

love for others through us. We sincerely hope that you would like share the love of God in our midst. The easiest way to get to know us better is to attend one of our Sunday services. We are easy to find, at the corner of Foothill and Loraine.

Just a few weeks left until our new classrooms are completed. The concrete walkways, rainwater drains are finished. The windows have been installed along with the red bricks the compliment our Quad area. A new wheelchair ramp has also been poured. On the interior, cabinets are being installed along with white boards. Stay tuned for more to come.

The finish line is in sigh for our new classrooms. On the exterior of the building, the doors have been painted, preparations for pouring the concrete walkways, completion of the roof and attic ventilation system. On the interior, the ceiling, hvac vents have been installed along with the light fixtures. The walls have been painted and the cabinets are in the process of being installed. A new school year brings new opportunities to grow in faith, serve with purpose, and shine God’s light.

We are excited to announce our 2026-2027 theme:

Shine Like Stars
Philippians 2:15 “Believers are to be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, shine like the light of the world.

This year, our students will be encouraged to live courageously, lead with kindness, serve others with joy, and share the love of Christ with others. We are looking forward to see how Christ works, through every member of our Hope family as we grow together in faith, learning and leadership.

Hope’s classroom construction continues to make great progress. This past week, on the exterior, the attic vents have been installed on the roof, the first round of stucco called the, “scratch coat”, has been completed, and the doors have been installed. On the inside, the drywall is now in place, the air handlers and ducting for the heating and air conditioning of each classroom are in place.

We are at the point of construction where things appear to slow down, but this is not true at Hope. As the construction on the outside appears to slow down, the construction on the inside accelerates. The construction crews have been working on the electrical wiring, IT wiring, plumbing, air conditioning and heating, as well as insulation. Soon the drywall will go up and cover it all.
