📍 Thursday, July 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Moon Valley High School: 3625 W. Cactus Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85029

Current openings include bus drivers, food service employees, maintenance staff, custodians, instructional assistants, and clerical staff. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online at www.guhsdaz.org by selecting the "Employment" tab.

Mark your calendars! All students are required to attend orientation with a parent or guardian.

🗓 Orientation Schedule:
Dates: Monday, July 27 – Thursday, July 30
Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Please check the website for your scheduled day to attend based on grade and/or last name.

Friday, July 31 (Make-Up Day)
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

📚 Incoming Freshmen: If you have not yet completed placement testing, please plan to stay for up to 2 hours to complete your required assessments.

📚 Planning ahead for the 2026–2027 school year!

Incoming freshmen are encouraged to turn in enrollment packets as soon as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year. Walk-Through Registration will take place July 27 through July 31, with additional details coming soon.

The first day of school is August 10, and we look forward to welcoming IHS students back for another great year!

Independence High School will be closed for the summer starting June 1. Our offices will reopen on Monday, July 6. If you have questions, please call 623-435-6000. School resumes on August 10.
