Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Advance Community. Each month, we recognize those who go above and beyond in supporting our mission and this month, we’re proud to celebrate The HEART Center as our Volunteer Group of the Month!

For the past two years, the HEART Center students have been a consistent and dedicated presence at Advance. Each week, 6–8 students join us to support our Stove to Table program and assist wherever they’re needed around the office. Their commitment and teamwork to serve make a meaningful impact on the families we support.

To the HEART Center team, thank you for showing up every Thursday with energy for service. We’re so grateful for your dedication to our community!

Spring 2026 *Parents* Groups are here!! Moms - Dads anyone close to a family member with special needs that is looking for an outlet to reset and rejuvenate- we’ve got you! First one of the season is Feb 5~ let’s step into the year of the Fire Horse together. See you there 🤍

Since we re-launched our inclusive overnight camps at Camp Colley in 2024, we have given out $98,900 in camp scholarships… WHAT?!?!?!

I’m seriously so proud to share that number and honestly still a little shocked that we made that possible. A few major gifts helped us get here, but at the heart of everything we do is this: no child is ever turned away because of financial burden.

That’s who we are.
That’s The HEART Center.
Inclusion, belonging, and access- always.

Now that we’ve hit this milestone, it’s time to make sure we can keep saying “yes” to every family who needs support. Camp shouldn’t be something kids miss out on. Not here. Not ever.

So today for Giving Tuesday, we’re growing the Camp Scholarship Fund for 2026. Camp requests are already rolling in, and we want to know that without a doubt, we can ALWAYS say yes to a kiddo in need.

What if Education felt more like Recreation?

We’ve spent over a decade learning alongside students who don’t fit the mold — kids who move differently, think differently and need something different.

That’s how our microschool started.

And now, we’re growing again — creating a new program designed specifically for neurodivergent learners ages 6–11 who thrive with movement, connection and of course- horses.

✨ We call it Foundations — where kids don’t have to earn their breaks, their movement or their joy.
