Registration for June programs opens on Friday, May 15 at 9:00 AM.

Summer programs will be held at 3 locations - Copper Creek Elementary, Park Meadows School, and Canyon Springs STEM Academy.

Join us for programs with Arizona Science Center, Great Arizona Puppet Theater, and Musical Story Time with Paul Whitney. We will also offer Play Dough Experience, LEGO Creation, Puzzle Power, Board Game Fun, STEM Play, Sensory Play, and Creativity Center.

Join us on Monday, June 8 at 10:00 AM at Foothills Branch Library for Great Arizona Puppet Theater's performance of Little Red Hen. Registration is not required. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis until program reaches capacity.

If you have a student starting kindergarten this fall, sign up for our FREE Kindergarten Bootcamp. This is a seven week kindergarten readiness program facilitated by Phoenix Public Library.

We will be headed to Children's Museum of Phoenix on May 19 for our last field trip of this school year. Space is limited. Registration for this event will show as wait list. Kindergarten Bootcamp is a FREE, seven-week program for you and your 2026 kindergartener. Learn the skills your child will need to be successful in school.

Registration is required, and space is limited.

Bootcamp will be available at Park Meadows Elementary School on Wednesdays from June 3 - July 15 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM; or at Canyon Springs STEM Academy on Thursdays from June 4 - July 16 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

In April, Wildlife World Zoo will "Bring the Zoo to You"! Zoo staff will bring a variety of animals to the family resource center for an up close, educational animal experience.

Read Across America Week is March 2 - March 6. Our week-long activities focus on developing a love for reading and ensuring all children have access to books. Authors featured in our programs will include Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Bill Martin, Laura Numeroff, Mo Willems, and more!

Early Head Start is for children ages birth to 35 months; Early Learning Center is for children ages 2 and 3 years old; Developmental and Peer Preschool Programs, Head Start, and Community Education Preschool & Prekindergarten Programs are for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
