I wrote the schedule for 8th grade baseball that is on the HLS website incorrectly. The game listed as 9/19 is actually today at Stetson Hills. My apologies.

Parent meeting for all baseball and softball teams will be this coming Wednesday, August 28th, at 5:15 PM in the Highland Lakes library. Please make plans to attend. Thank you!

Baseball & Softball tryouts for 7th and 8th graders are coming up quick. Make sure to get your Register My Athlete paperwork completed and uploaded (link is on the HLS website) prior to tryouts on Monday 8/12 and Tuesday 8/13. Athletes should check in with Mr. Nelson in the gym lobby before heading out to the fields. Tryouts will be 3:45-5:00ish.

Summer baseball camp @ DVHS

7th grade girls and boys basketball play today at Sonoran Trails. Girls will play first at 4:45 and boys will play after so should start between 5:30-5:45.

The 8th grade boys game was moved from today to 4/23 so we could make sure we have referees. Thanks.

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys' volleyball team on their repeat win of the NVMLC championship! This group has not lost a set in 2 years. They now advance to the regional tournament.

Today’s middle school cross country meet at Sonoran Trails has been CANCELED because the course is flooded. No plans to reschedule at this time. We will keep you posted. Thanks

Conference championship matches for wrestling are Saturday January 13 at Desert Sky Middle School. Weigh ins are at 8:00 am and matches will start at 9:00 am. Go Bears!
