๐Ÿ™Sounds pretty amazing, especially for a nutrient that doesnโ€™t get the respect it deserves.

Itโ€™s ๐…๐ˆ๐๐„๐‘!

๐Ÿ‘€Itโ€™s kind of weird to think that a nutrient that moves through our system basically untouched can make such a difference โ€ฆ but it does!

๐Ÿ‘And when your diet is a little โ€œoffโ€, being consistent with your fiber intake can be a huge gift for your digestive tract.

๐Ÿ˜ฑYour gut โ€“ aka your digestive system โ€“ is filled with microbiota (tiny organisms) that affect your body in pretty much every way possible, from your mood to your bathroom habits and even aches and pains in various body parts.

๐Ÿ’ชSome of these organisms are better for you than others. Some boost your health and vitality โ€ฆ while others cause a breakdown inside your system.

๐ŸคฏWhen the not-so-healthy microorganisms take over, you can run into trouble.

๐‡๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐š๐๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ข๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐›๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ค๐Ÿ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ:

1. ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐š ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž๐๐ฌ 1 tablespoon (14 grams) = 6 grams of fiber. (Tip: Soak your chia seeds for about a half-hour in a quarter-cup of liquid to create a pudding-like consistency.)

2. ๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐จ๐š๐ญ๐ฌ ยฝ cup (45 grams) = 4 grams of fiber. Cook in 1 cup of almond milk and toss in some berries.

3. ๐‘๐š๐ฌ๐ฉ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ 1 cup (125 grams) = 8 grams of fiber. (The same amount of blueberries = 4 grams fiber, strawberries = 3 grams fiber)

4. ๐๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ค ๐›๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ ยผ cup (42 grams) = 5 grams fiber. Add to your eggs or breakfast wrap.

5. ๐’๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฌ๐ก ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ง ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž๐๐ฌ 1 oz (15 grams) = 5 grams of fiber. Add these to a smoothie or your oatmeal.

These are just some ideas to get you started! You might not feel the effect immediately, but over time your body will definitely thank you.
