Graduation parents??? What free diploma software are you finding user friendly or are you having to pay to print your senior's diploma?

Back in Texas our homeschool group had a monthly “Family Dance & Potluck“. Everybody in the family was welcomed and encouraged to come and even to dance. We drove 2 hours every month to go!!

The dances were English country dances right out of the Jane Austin movies I’m sure most of us have seen. The music is very family-friendly, mostly classical-styled but for sure no rap, rock ‘n roll, etc...The dances are very genteel and proper but lots of fun for ALL ages.

Our homeschool group back in Texas set it up so that all single ladies who wanted to dance, and needed a dancing partner, stood in a designated area. All ladies standing in the designated area were not allowed to turn a gentleman down who asked her for a dance. Knowing this made it a whole lot easier for young (shy) gentleman to get up the courage to ask a young lady to dance. This system worked really well and cut-out feelings of being left out or rejected🙂 And to maintain a sense of propriety there is also a way for married couples to dance certain types of dances so that they do not have to change their partners but instead always stay with their spouses.

These monthly dances are one of the only things our family misses from Texas. Our boys especially loved them and really miss getting to go to them. But my husband and I miss them also. These gatherings make a great “date-night” dancing with your spouse😉

To facilitate my childrens’ “socialization” I thought I would try to see if there would be enough interest in them with the homeschool group here in Arizona to try to put one on. If so, I have some ideas for people to come help us teach/call the dances.

So could I get a head-count of the number of people who would be interested in trying this? The dances will be somewhere in Prescott but I would like to open it to any Arizona homeschooling family who wouldn’t mind driving here for them😊

I am the Athletic Director for Branches Homeschool Athletics. We are finishing up our Fall season with the Canyon Athletic Association and looking forward to building a High School JV BASKETBALL TEAM for the winter season!
Do you know of any basketball coaches (maybe a homeschool dad or graduate) and/or 7th-11th grade boys that are looking for a homeschool team to participate with?
We are based in Phoenix but play against schools in the Central and North part of the Valley.
Athletes do not need to be part of a Branches campus to play. I’d love to provide an opportunity for them to experience competitive high school sports!

METAMORPHOSIS 2023: best. week. of. summer. 75 students, 14 leaders, crazy color wars, a neon glow in the dark dance party, phenomenal worship, intimate time with the Lord, AND we ended the week with NINE BAPTISMS! ⚡️

K.E.Y.S. Camp 2023 was absolutely mind blowing! God planned it and man did He move in hearts! The week included many decisions to live the Jesus Way and relentlessly cut distractions! We ended the week with 9 baptisms! Thanks Jesus!! Thanks to all the adults who joined us and made this the best week of summer!
