Aviation & Space Club of GCC

Dear GCC students, and current and former club members,

I think it’s high time we had an Aviation & Space Club get-together! I’d be happy to organize an event at Van Nuys Airport, with light snacks, a hangar tour, and (most importantly) a chance for passionate aviators to reconnect and share stories.

I was recently thrilled to be invited by Mr. Allport to sit in on one of his classes (highly recommend attending; it’s a great reminder of how important it is to stay sharp on what’s arguably the biggest hazard in aviation: weather!). The experience energized me to help get the club going again.

Would anyone be willing to help spread the word and see if we can get a good-sized group together? I’m happy to host, just need to know there’s enough interest.
