Sheila V got in on the saguaro craze! Here is her version of "The 3 Amigos". It looks like Sheila had a blast with her bugs, birds, red ants and lizards. What fun to study and find all the cool stuff!

The desert is blooming in the studio! Linda M created these 2 crested saguaro wall hangings. They read like an "I Spy" quilt with all the fun birds, bees, bugs and lizards. There are also hot air ballons and a rainbow! The more you look at these the more you see! Great job Linda!!

FYI, if you have never seen a crested saguaro in real life, be sure to Google it. They are a real thing not many people get to see and only occur in our beautiful SW Arizona.

Lyn E has done a beautiful job of Cotton Cuts mystery quilt called Sparkle & Shine. What a fun quilt with lots of geometric fabrics. Quilted with black thread over 80/20 batting.

This is a wonderful quilt designed and stitch by JD & Becki K. Becki said its 95% JD. Kudos to you both! Stitched with a soft rust color thread over 80/20 batting.

A beautiful Grandmother's Flower Garden hand pieced by Cindy G. Lovingly made for her little granddaughter. English paper piecing is certainly a labor of love! I included a picture of the back side of the quilt top for those of you that have never seen how EPP is put together. Great job Cindy!

Well this is officially the smallest quilt I have ever longarmed. This little mini is by Marcie H. She picked out the same quilting design we did on her last mini, but at 1/2 the size as the last one. Those circles are 1/8th inch apart! The pineapple blocks finished at 2", the border pieces are 1/4" wide! AND amazingly, there is a total of 629 pieces of fabric in this little 10.5" square quilt. A fat quarter made for an oversize backing. Way to go Marcie!!

This beautiful fused applique quilt was made by Debbie G. The pattern is 'Garden Party' by Laura Heine. With 7 hours of heavy quilting by me in a varigated thread over 80/20 batting. This will be a wonderful wall quilt and a bright spot in a room. Great job Debbie!

Aardvarks, bumble bees and chickens, ABC's! Yup, this is a twin to a quilt done earlier this week. Once again, great job Ruth!

This quilt is fond memories of van camping at the beach for Deborah and her hubby. The adorable VW vans are great in the many fabrics she used. Great job Deborah!

Ruth H stitched up this adorable alphabet quilt. It is so cute in 30's repro fabrics! Quilted with more ABC's in a pale yellow thread over 80/20 batting.

Mary M created this beautiful flannel and hand applique quilt. It's adorable with all the doggies. She said she was just going to do the 1 block that reminded her of her dog and before she knew it, it was a quilt! Well done Mary!

This beauty was pieced by Joanne W. It is beautiful in fall batik colors stitched with a copper thread over 80/20 batting.

Here is my Diamond Log Cabin all but the binding. Like Marcie's I posted earlier, but a different colorway. 22" square, 1/4" wide stips, 64 blocks. It was such a fun project to do! Believe it or not, stitching up those blocks were like eating potato chips! Couldn't stop stitching 😉

This little 22" diamond log cabin by Marcie H is simply gorgeous! All batik fabrics, it's ready for trimming and binding. Note the scale of the piecing and quilting in the 2nd photo, that's a dime on her quarter inch strips! Quilted with Marcie's favorite neutral thread, acid yellow over 80/20 batting.

Whew! This was a big job. Only 2/3's of this quilt is showing in my photo. Total size is 121x160" it was like quilting 2 queen size quilts as 1. Actually Candy D stitched 4 quilts as 1 to be quilted all at once with the same design, thread and backing. Candy will cut this up into 4 oversize lap quilts. She used the beautiful National Parks panels. Quilted with a matching carmel thread over 80/20 batting.

Sherry L did a fabulous job on her very first quilt for her favorite fireman! Keep on quilting Sherry, I hope to see more from you 😀 Quilted over 80/20 batting.

This elegant star quilt was stitched up by Mary Ann K. It has a very pretty collection of birds, paisley and roses. It is quilted pretty in pink over 80/20 batting.

It's all about the texture in this wonderful grey and white modified log cabin by Annette T. It's very elegant looking complimented with a light grey thread over 80/20 batting.

I believe that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Alison S liked my String Star quilt so much she made a smaller version for herself. She used all batik fabrics in hers for a bright happy look. Alison, you did a fabulous job! Quilted with a ruby red thread over 80/20 batting.

Diamonds are a girls best friend! This is Marcie H's version of the Elizabeth quilt. It is truly stunning to behold! Quilted with an ice blue thread over 80/20 batting.

Janet B was here rockin' and rollin' driving the longarm in her own style Friday. She stitched out a sweet heart of a design on two of her even sweeter quilt tops. Janet, you did a beautiful job!

Well Kayla will be with this lovely table mat. Kayla did some beautiful english paper piecing using her favorite Liberty of London fabrics to put this one together! Quilted in a gold thread over 80/20 batting.

Lind Y's Mountain Pride looks like it could just jump off the quilt. What a cool panel! 2 fun facts with this quilt, Linda said 1 of her house cats would not come in the sewing room while this was on the design wall and while the stars are supposed to be wonky, Linda is such a precise quilter even though she really did try to be wonky, they all came out the same! Another great quilt Linda!

Shiela V strikes again with another beauty. This one is called Blooming Fields. All batik, turquoise thread and 80/20 batting. Gorgeous!
