Highly recommend https://EasyVirtualChoir.com, super easy to use, and it is FREE! The software aligns audio/video tracks automatically and generates virtual choir videos instantly. Users have created videos for choir, musical instruments, virtual rehearsal, online music teaching, sing-along, choir dance, singing with sign language, remote PE, skit etc., or simply for fun with friends and family. Educators have used it to integrate music, teacher instruction and student participation into one video. It’s a great visualization tool and virtual platform combined, a versatile app that can be used in various ways. The entire process is easy enough that even kindergartners and 1st graders can figure out how to add their recordings to the virtual choir. Most teachers have got a video created after just one class period. It’s a fun way for teachers to engage remote students and provide timely feedback. Kids are excited to participate in the recordings and see themselves in the generated video. Online music classes have become so much easier with this software, which has made teachers thrilled, students delighted, and parents pleased. Hope this free service will be helpful to your students too!

Users have created videos for choir, band, chamber music, virtual rehearsal, online music teaching, choir dance, audition, recital, singing with sign language, drama practice, skit etc., or simply for fun with friends and family. Educators have used it to integrate music, teacher instructions and student participation into one video. It’s a great visualization tool and virtual platform combined, especially useful for online classrooms. The entire process is so intuitive, simple and fast for both teachers and students, that many k-12 school teachers got a video created with 15-40 kids after just one class period. Congratulations my dearest daughter Patricia Mejia!🌻
I have to pick 3 of 5 Board Members for Washington Elem No. 6 School governing Board, but I cannot find sufficient information regarding any of the candidates. None could be bothered to answer the survey questions in azvoterguide.com. Searching with Google doesn't show much info either. Do I pick them by the name I like the most?
how am i supposed to get daughter meds/prescription note to nurse when not allowed on campus, i have reached out through email and phone and nothing no response. My daughter wont take her meds to the nurses office i need an answer

Sometimes my posts seem negative in nature, however, that is the passion for my children getting the proper education that they deserve and will get in this district or somewhere else. I am a product of the Washington Elementary School school district and I know that the teachers here are highly motivated and can teach our children what they need to know to be successful members of society that thrive in any environment. I mean my children have had the same teacher that I had teaching me Sunday school when I was young. They can not do that if they are not in the classroom where they have the most impact. I would challenge my fellow parents to not be bench warmers in this process and be active. My wife attended the recent PTO meeting for our school (Virtually of course) and was the only parent in attendance........Why? Are too many of us riding the bench, like some of our board members? Are we asking the right questions? Are we investing the time in our children's education that we are asking everyone else too? I ask these things because as a father of three ( 2 in district ) maybe I have been coasting for too long as well get involved, Invest in your child's education with your time and your money if possible(not tax dollars). With that being said, There is a board meeting this Thursday, how many of you have written e-mails to the board members with your opinion on schools opening and how? The board meeting is virtual and can be listened in by all. Three of the five members are up for election in 2 months. Let them know we are listening and we will vote accordingly if the administration (Dr.Stanton) is not held accountable to what we as parents expect.
Metrics are met for Hybrid! Next week full traditional metrics will be met. Do we have a date or even a plan yet?
When will be getting more information about possible in person learning after labor day and the options of in person learning??

Can we PLEASE let our children get back to some sort of normalcy and quality education they deserve!? If us parents are comfortable with sending our kids back, please let us.

My plan proposal:
Make in person learning optional. If parents choose to keep their children online only they must stay online until next semester. If they choose in person and at any point feel unsafe, we can put our child back to online learning only. This change can only be made 1 time and will have to remain the choice of online only until the 2nd semester.
For the children who are choosing to be back in person:
Half the students go in person Mondays & Tuesdays, other half Thursdays and Fridays. All online learning Wednesdays for cleaning in between groups. Days kids are not in person they are online. This helps with limited bodies in a classroom, kids get their school setting, kids get to socialize with their peers, less device problems, better learning experience, less kids have stress of online learning, etc. Please don't make it be like a prison either, completely unnecessary and unconventional.
really need to know if there going to be in person schooling in September. I need to make appointments for other things but cant do those unless know whats going on with school.
Open our schools!

The WESD Nutrition Services Department was recently named a silver award winner of the 2023 Summer Farm Fresh Challenge by the Arizona Department of Education! Designed to empower Child Nutrition Program (CNP) operators to cultivate excitement around fresh and locally-sourced foods, the challenge asks participating organizations to complete a series of challenges that promote the tasting, teaching, and connection to foods local to Arizona during a one-week timeframe in June. To be recognized as a silver tier winner, awardees procured three 'easy to reach' local menu items and one 'hard to reach' menu item, hosted two educational activities, and promoted the challenge.

As part of the challenge, WESD Nutrition Services sourced local cantaloupe and honeydew melons, tomatoes and cheese curds to serve to students during summer feeding in June. They also provided signage with nutrition education and posted about their challenge activities on Facebook.

Special shout out to WESD Nutrition Services Program Coordinator Nicole Augustine for working with the vendors and to the extended summer staff at Chaparral Elementary School and Lookout Mountain Elementary for providing this opportunity to our students and community!

There was much to celebrate at last night’s Governing Board meeting! One of the highlights was the presentation of a new Land Acknowledgement that will be read at the beginning of each Governing Board meeting. The acknowledgement was presented by members of the WESD Indian Parent Committee (IPC), which is facilitated by Jaimie Brown, Title VI coordinator. The Board voted unanimously in June that a land acknowledgement would be included on the Board agenda per policy BEDB. Last night was the result of collaboration from members of the IPC, WESD staff, parents and tribal community members. The statement is an acknowledgement that a public event is taking place on land that was originally inhabited by Indigenous people. We are proud to add this acknowledgement as we continue to create an equitable and inclusive environment and celebrate the many cultures across our District.
