Happy Lights on Afterschool! Lights on Afterschool is a national celebration, highlighting the importance and benefits of after school programming! We are so grateful for our students, families, and staff!!

Sahuaro Ranch KidZone students worked in small groups to build scarecrows. Students worked together to draw out their plans, write their materials lists and then build their scarecrows. Students practiced so many skills including planning, collaborating, problem solving and having perseverance. The groups were mixed ages and we really saw some amazing leadership skills in our older students as they organized and led their group! This took students about 3 weeks of hard work to complete and check out how unique those scarecrows turned out!

On Education Support Staff Professionals Day, we are celebrating all of our support staff in Peoria Unified Schools!! A special thank you to our amazing KidZone staff. They are on campus before sunrise and stay past sunset, supporting our students and families!! Thank YOU support staff for all that you do!!
