Huge round of applause for these fantastic kids for participating in the PUSD Honor Band!

It's called "Honor Band" for a reason. You can't just sign up, you must try out and only if you make it can you participate! Not only that, they had to practice on their own time as the whole band only comes together for about 12 hrs total. One rehearsal on a Friday from 8am-4pm, and a small rehearsal from 9am-12pm concert day!

Ironwood High School band has the most out of any school that made the group. 🥰🙌🎉

Congrats to all the Ironwood students who participated in the Solo and Ensemble performances today!

Even though marching season is over, some of our Ironwood band students (mixed with students from Cactus, Peoria, and Sunrise Mountain) are participating in the Peoria Unified Percussion (PUP) group this spring hosted by our very own Ironwood High School!

They could use all the support they can get this season and one way is to let Panda Express handle dinner on Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 5-9pm! This is an online only fundraiser, which means you can help support PUP from anywhere in the country! All you need to do is enter the code 9011879 at checkout either online or on your Panda Express mobile app and 28% of the sales will go to support PUP! (Link to event page below with all details)

The catch, we must meet a minimum amount in order for Panda to pay out, so please SHARE this with everyone you know! Let's show these kids how much we love and support them in all their band endeavors with some good food! 🥳
