Today we gave a $200 grant to Ms. Griffith at Marshall Ranch Elementary School. Special thanks to Mr. Corbett, Principal for helping us surprise her. We hope this helps with some classroom supplies. Ms. Griffith applied to the AZPE member spring grants https://www.azpe.org/grants

Next week is spirit week

Last Friday, we got to celebrate the Grand Opening of our new Student Store. Students and teachers were excited as they got to see the store and purchase items if they had earned MAGIC bucks! Thank you to everyone involved for making this happen including donors like yourself, teachers and a BIG shout out to our community partner, Haven Church. We hope this encourages students to show more MAGIC around campus as we want to reward those students who do make a difference through their positive and kind actions.

Youth Engagement – Arizona State Poetry Society

March 1- April 30
Open to all Arizona students, grades 1-12. There is no entry fee for the contest. Poems can be on any topic. Poems written in other than English must include an English translation.

Youth Engagement – Arizona State Poetry Society The Primary Poets is a pilot youth poetry group (ages 5-12) sponsored by the Arizona State Poetry Society and Coordinated by Karen Morales.

Our 8th grade students had a great time at our zoo field trip earlier this month that allowed them the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt to find specific items tailored to the Life Sciences curriculum. We want to send a special thanks to all of our parent chaperones who made it possible for us to attend this trip and allow the 8th grade students to explore learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
