We were honored to share the stage with Gata band from Yerevan to perform Armenian folk dances with fantastic performance by Armenian folk singer Andranik Sarkavag Manukyan in Los Angeles tour 2026. Here is the schedule for month of September 2026. We will meet every Friday in Glendale.
Classes are starting 7pm and ending 10pm. We are accepting students in beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. We will teach detailed steps, body forming & hands movement in proper way.
Also, we will inform you about history, meaning and purpose of the dances. Please note that during every class we will have only a quick break time.
We will only accept people who are interested to learn dances and are agree with our dance class rules. No one is permitted to disturb the class or join dances occasionally!!!

Teaching Armenian folk dances in proper way is the most important mission for us as instructors at Ararat folk song and dance group.
Beside of our stage performance group we also have weekly dance classes for everyone in beginners, intermediate and advanced levels in Glendale every Friday 7pm-10pm.
We are informing people about history, meaning and purpose of the dances. Also teaching students how to manage body movements and keep Armenian spirit of the dances. Showing individual attention to every student is one of the key factors that made our classes so productive during last 10 years.

Join us on Friday February 13,2026 to celebrate Trndez at St. Mary's Armenian Church in Glendale .
Church mass will take place at 6:30 pm following with bonfire ceremony around 7:15-7:30 pm.
We will perform some Armenian Traditional dances during ceremony and will continue to dance Azgagrakan Shurjbarer with people until 9 pm. Let's celebrate Trndez together like our ancestors hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder.
