Ironwood High School, part of the Peoria Unified School District, is located in the Northwest Valley and is labeled an excelling school from the AZ LEARNS achievement profiles. It is one of the largest unified school districts in Arizona and prides itself on excelling schools, award-winning teachers, high AIMS test scores, specialized signature programs and championship sports programs.

Great having our 2022 Ironwood IB grads back on campus this evening. They received their IB diplomas and certificates. It was amazing to hear all about what they have been doing since they left Ironwood. Congrats to this outstanding group of Eagles.

Congratulations to the Ironwood Band on receiving âSuperior with Distinctionâ at ABODA Fall Band Festival! The band had a wonderful clinic with Dr. Duncan from ASU after their performance. Way to go Band! Congrats!
Ironwood High School Resource Officer Gerald Sydnor of the Glendale Police Department presented A.C.E.S. award for November to Erick Hoverson. Each month, staff at Ironwood, nominate a student who exemplifies the A.C.E.S. values. The Glendale Police Department A.C.E.S. Program was created to recognize students within Glendale city high schools who demonstrate and commit to promoting character excellence within their everyday lives, by demonstrating the core values of the Glendale Police Department Awarding Character Excellence in Students (ACES) program: Integrity, Courage, Excellence, Respect, Compassion and Dedication. Eagle Community: Please mark your calendars for our Meet the Teacher Night and our Future Freshmen Night. The new date is January 30th (a previous post said 1/23). Please make the change on your calendars as this is a great night on our campus and we don't want you to miss it!

A fun event was held on campus last night - Eagle Madness! Our Boysâ and Girlsâ Basketball programs put this together for a great cause. Intersquad games were played, our Alumni came back to play and our Staff had their own game as well. Admission for the event was canned food donations to help our community throughout the holiday season! It was a great evening! Thank you to all who participated!

Today our FAFSA Peer Coaches went into the Senior Classes to show how Seniors & Parents can create their FSA Id to prepare for FAFSA Night coming up Thursday October 13th. The Peer Coaches & others will be in the library from 1-7 to help students & parents who bring the necessary documents complete the application.
