Auditions for the Scottsdale Philharmonic Youth Orchestra are coming up on May 4th and May 11th. Tell all of your Phoenix based orchestra students to come and audition! Had a great turnout for my presentation at AMEA 2019. I got asked a veritable TON of questions and people were literally standing in the aisles to take pictures/videos of my demos. I’m elated that my topic was of interest/use to the amazing music educators I met today!

My proposal for the 2019 Arizona Music Educators Association Annual Conference has been accepted! Developing Better Horn Players During Ensemble Rehearsals will explore pedagogical techniques dedicated to improving the quality of horn players in your band/orchestra that you can employ from the podium!

I'm looking forward to giving a Tele-Lecture to the horn students at Auburn University on October 8th. We will be exploring the history of the horn and discussing the practical applications this has on our performances! Big thanks to Dr. Bill Schaffer for inviting me!
