For those who are graduating this semester, LPH has graduation gowns, donated specifically for students in need. Gowns are to borrow, not keep, and must be returned. If you borrow a gown from the collection, you will still need to purchase your cap and tassel. Anyone who is in need, please e-mail Cindy Becker at [email protected].

The [email protected] senior capstone class will be presenting various ideas tonight in room LA141 at 6pm! Come support your fellow classmates. Alumni are always welcomed as well. It will be a series of ignite/TED talks and is very exciting!

Happy Saturday everyone! Just a reminder about our potluck!
On Tuesday, November 28th, from 6:45-7:45PM, LPH is hosting a potluck for all current members of the NAU @ GCC COMmunity. It will be held in HU103 between COM 200 and Rhetorical Criticism.
We encourage you all to come and please bring a dish or beverage to share!
LPH will provide plates, utensils, cups, and napkins. There is no fee to attend, we just ask that everyone who intends to participate contributes to the potluck. You do not need to prepare or bring enough to feed everyone in the entire program. Just bring as much as you can/want to.

As always, we encourage you to attend LPH events as it is an excellent opportunity to network with your colleagues and build meaningful relationships. Many alumni will tell you they met some of their closest friends in this program.
Plus, you have to admit, we are all starving by the time 6:30PM rolls around and many of us still have another class!
Below is a link to a Google Sheets document. Please add your first and last name and whatever you decide to contribute to the potluck to the spreadsheet. This way we know how many people intend to participate and we don't have too many duplicates of the same dishes, etc.

This year Lambda Pi Eta is participating in a children's book drive. We are collecting children's and young adult books to send to a 3rd world country. These children are very appreciative of anything we can send over there so if you have, or know of anyone who has some children's book, or young adult books they would like to donate please contact one of the LPH officers, or bring them in and give them to any of the LPH officers- Marcus, Sam, Kelsey, Cassandra (R.), or Veronica.
Donations can be dropped off at GCC in these rooms:
Monday- HU 103 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Tuesday- LS 104 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Wednesday- HU 103 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Dr. Baker will be having class in these rooms during the time posted.
A little more about who these books will be going to:
7th graders in the Marshall Islands, most of the 7th graders are reading at a 2nd or 3rd grade level, ANY books would be appreciated.
