I have 2 new full time openings coming up that will be available to start in the next 1-2 weeks. I have an established home daycare that I’ve been running for 14 years. I am certified in basic life support/cpr (I was in school to be an emt.) I offer a clean, safe home, with balanced meals and snacks. I practice play based learning as well as provide preschool learning for the 4-5 year olds. Preschool learning includes working on motor skills such as handwriting and cutting as well as learning the alphabet, including phonics and recognizing the letters, we also work on name recognition, counting, shape recognition, etc. We work on manners daily and have a solid daily routine.

About me. I am a mother of 5, ages 5-16. Being a mother is my favorite job! I have a degree in social work and have a tiny craft operation on the side, personalizing shirts and making decals. I love to cook and bake and my kids would tell you I’m the best.

Our home is located in a quiet community in Glendale off 47th Ave/olive.

I can offer many references if requested.

Picture catch up! This week our theme was winter wonderland! Our highlights this week were making paper snowballs and having a pretend snow ball fight, playing with ice skating penguins, and making snowball cookies...but I think eating them was the best part!

Pumpkin week was awesome! We talked about the lifecycle of the pumpkin, and checked out the inside..then we carved it! The children voted on what kind of face to give our jack o lantern. We made paper jack o lanterns with homemade puffy paint and used markers for the first time to color our wooden pumpkins. We read several great pumpkin stories and Halloween stories such as Spookley the square pumpkin and Pete the Cats Halloween! Yesterday we had a Halloween party which was so fun! We had the coolest Halloween donuts, goodie bags, cookies and a Jack o lantern pumpkin pizza! We had a lot of fun decorating sugar cookies and watching Spookley the square pumpkin (we read the book earlier this week). Lastly we did the one of our favorite activities..a dance party! Thank you for all the contributions made to make the party extra fun, the kids and I appreciate everything! Have a wonderful and safe Halloween everyone!

I slacked on pictures last week for farm week! We learned about mommy, daddy and baby animals, what things we could find at the farm (animals, plants) and what foods we get from animals (milk, eggs). We sang all the farm songs we could think of, and old McDonald several times over! Most of our group ended the week with a trip to Tolmachoff farms, where we got a tour, rode on the tractor train, picked from the garden, had a picnic, visited animals, picked a pumpkin and played! This week is pumpkin week with a Halloween Party on Thursday! We are also on the letter Kk and number 9. Check your child’s backpack for a letter with info about our party.

Monster week was fun! We read several monster stories, used a monster faced Balloon for a science experiment, made play doh monsters, and made monster cupcakes! I think their funnest activity was the monster dance off! We also worked on the letter I and the kids made sure they used plenty of icing on their cupcakes to honor. “I” week!

A very fun week! We learned about different kinds of bears, what they eat and how they hibernate! We read several stories, including going on a bear hunt, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Goldilocks and the 3 bears. On Monday we had a teddy bear picnic at the park! Today we made hot cakes for the letter H! Next week will be our our Monster theme and the letter I!
