🧐 Contrary to what you may have heard recently, the Oxford Very Short Introduction series provides a "stimulating and accessible way into a new subject" and are not dangerous "how-to" guides. The library has hundreds of titles in this collection on a variety of topics, from religion, science, politics, and many more! πŸ“š

🌸 Celebrating our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities at both libraries with displays of books and movies! This takes place in May to commemorate the first Asian immigration to the States and mark the transcontinental railroad completion, where Chinese immigrants were responsible for some of the more dangerous labor tasks associated with this project. πŸš‚
