Kerob Aslanyan is a highly accomplished Armenian folk instrumentalist, educator, and arts leader with decades of experience in performance and music education.
π΅ A graduate of the prestigious Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, he specialized in Shvi and Duduk under the guidance of renowned masters, within the department founded by legendary composer Khachatur Avetisyan.
β¨ With a long-standing career in education, Mr. Aslanyan has served as a dedicated teacher and later as Principal, shaping generations of musicians through his leadership and vision.
As an active performer, he has appeared worldwide as a soloist and ensemble member with leading groups, and has been invited as a judge in international music competitions.
In 2021, he was honored with the Gold Medal by the Republic of Armeniaβs βCulture of Armeniaβ Association for his outstanding contributions to music and culture.
πΌ Today, at Crescendo School of Music, he teaches Shvi, Duduk, Zurna, and Clarinet, inspiring students to connect with the deep roots of Armenian musical heritage.
